MEDIMAX is the franchise specialist retail concept of the ElectronicPartner group and positions itself as a service and experience-oriented specialist store. The claim “Mehr Mensch. Mehr Technik.“ shows that the focus is on person-to-person advice and business with high-quality technology.

The first MEDIMAX specialist store opened in 1988 and since then the store network has developed dynamically throughout Germany. Until 2019, the majority of the locations were centrally managed by ElectronicPartner, while some stores were already in the hands of franchise partners. In order to position MEDIMAX successfully for the future, we now rely entirely on local entrepreneurship. We handed over all stores to franchise partners by the end of 2021, because we are convinced that they will work with their local teams to provide the best advice.

 

The right assortment is part of a successful shopping experience. At more than 70 locations, customers will find products from all areas of entertainment and household electronics, IT/multimedia and telecommunications. Whether it be televisions, washing machines, fully automatic coffee makers, notebooks or smartphones: customers will find their desired product in the large MEDIMAX range. The range lists over 50,000 items and covers all major brand manufacturers from the areas of mobile communication, TV and audio, digital photography, multimedia, navigation, office, household, kitchen and more. The website with an integrated online shop and all omnichannel functions also shows the MEDIMAX product and service world in order to ensure a uniform brand experience in all channels.

 

Regular and intensive training of the sales team is an important building block in order to meet the high requirements for the quality of advice. The expertise and willingness of the MEDIMAX team to offer an individual solution for each customer are what make the brand so successful.

 

In order to offer our franchise partners an attractive model to complement their MEDIMAX stores, we have breathed new life into the ProMarkt discounter line. The concept is geared towards time-limited highlight offers. The favorable conditions are made possible by the ProMarkt principle, which is based on targeted opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday as well as reduced sales staff and simple presentation of the goods.
