The event season kicked off with “Business & Innovation” on April 23 and 24 in Nördlingen. The event provided IT system houses and specialist retailers with valuable insights into current industry topics such as artificial intelligence, IT security, managed services, new service models, and the requirements of the NIS2 Directive. Expert presentations by renowned speakers were complemented by numerous opportunities for discussion and networking. A guided city tour rounded off the program and offered additional time for informal exchange.
A fixture on the comTeam event calendar naturally returned in 2026: the Motorcycle Tour. In June, 18 participants covered more than 190 kilometers through the Bavarian Forest and into the Czech Republic. Alongside breathtaking scenery and ideal riding conditions, the shared experience and camaraderie took center stage. Just one week later, the traditional comTeam Cycling Tour was scheduled to take place in Lower Saxony. However, despite being fully booked once again, the leisure event had to be canceled at short notice due to the heatwave. Nevertheless, the overwhelming response once again demonstrated the event’s importance within the network.
The summer event season was rounded off by two additional highlights. During the Hanse Sail in August, partners gathered aboard a three-masted sailing ship and took advantage of the unique maritime setting for in-depth discussions and exchange on current industry topics. The comTeam event season concluded in early October with a visit to Topgolf Oberhausen, combining a relaxed atmosphere with valuable networking opportunities and professional exchange.
“A strong network thrives on personal dialogue. Our events create exactly the environment in which conversations lead to new ideas, contacts develop into long-term partnerships, and a community generates real added value for everyone involved. That is why we deliberately invest in formats that bring our partners together, both professionally and personally,” says Sven Glatter, Managing Director of comTeam.
With its diverse range of event formats, comTeam once again demonstrated in 2026 that it is far more than a traditional purchasing cooperative. The company sees itself as a networking platform for the IT channel, where knowledge is shared, collaboration is encouraged, and sustainable business relationships are built. The live events make an important contribution to this mission and once again underline a simple truth: successful partnerships are created where people come together and engage in meaningful conversation.
