ElectronicPartner consolidates its German business in a new national organisation

As part of the transformation initiated at the beginning of 2026, ElectronicPartner is taking a further decisive step. The buying group, which comprises several brands and business areas, will establish a dedicated ElectronicPartner Germany national organisation.

Under this new structure, the company will consolidate its services for members and franchise partners in the consumer electronics retail sector in Germany.

ElectronicPartner has already successfully implemented the national company model for many years in Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. With the new national organisation in Germany, ElectronicPartner is creating the conditions for a clear allocation of responsibilities, more efficient decision-making processes and a stronger focus on the needs of its members and franchise partners. The key priorities are the continued development of the EP: and MEDIMAX brands, as well as the sustainable strengthening of specialist consumer electronics retailing within the group.

Like its international sister organisations, the new German national organisation will be headed by a Managing Director with overall responsibility. ElectronicPartner has appointed Martin Wolf to this position and warmly welcomes him to the company. An experienced and highly committed industry expert, he most recently served at EK Retail as General Manager responsible for the specialist retail concepts electroplus and küchenplus. Prior to that, he worked for ElectronicPartner from 1991 to 2012, most recently as Head of Purchasing at MEDIMAX, with responsibility for the consumer electronics, telecommunications and mobile communications categories.

In connection with the realignment of the operational leadership structure in Germany and to ensure the continued successful development of its Dutch subsidiary, the Supervisory Board has asked Patrick van Tent to devote his full attention once again to his role as Managing Director of ElectronicPartner Nederland. “We greatly value Patrick van Tent’s many years of successful leadership and the positive development of our Dutch organisation. We thank him for his valuable contribution to the strategic direction of the group over the past months and look forward to continuing our trusted and constructive cooperation,” says Michael Haubrich, Chairman of the ElectronicPartner Supervisory Board.

In future, the functions of Purchasing, Sales and Marketing will be assigned to the German national organisation. Until the new Managing Director assumes operational responsibility, these areas will be overseen on an interim basis by Karl Trautmann, former Member of the Executive Board of ElectronicPartner and current member of the Supervisory Board.
