ElectronicPartner at IFA 2023

ElectronicPartner looks back on a successful appearance at the 2023 International Funkausstellung (IFA). EP:members, MEDIMAX franchise partners, and many other members of the buying group traveled to Berlin to experience the latest products from leading electronics manufacturers firsthand. In addition, they had the opportunity to engage directly with the industry and receive up-to-date information from their network in a relaxed atmosphere at the IFA Palais.

In the shadow of the Funkturm, ElectronicPartner again created an exclusive meeting and relaxation area for its members and industry professionals. With a new, green stand design, the network made a strong statement about sustainability. “A total of 16 trees, complete with roots and soil, symbolize our diverse sustainable activities as part of our green corporate strategy, Go Green,” explains Karl Trautmann, Board Member at ElectronicPartner. “Of course, the trees will continue to live a happy life after IFA,” he adds.

Environmental and climate protection were not only visually present but were also a key focus of the exhibition. “We are working intensively on various levers to identify and utilize potential for more environmentally friendly actions across the entire buying group. Some of our larger projects include supporting the 'Mittelstand & Moor' initiative', where we finance the rewetting of a 100-hectare peatland, and the new photovoltaic system on our approximately 7,000-square-meter roof in Düsseldorf,” lists the board member.

Another central theme at the IFA Palais was the new campaign "Become a Partner." This was presented in detail to the member companies for the first time and is particularly of interest to those looking for a successor in the coming years. “We are addressing entrepreneurs who want to leverage our successful business model and benefit significantly from our experience and comprehensive service package,” emphasizes Friedrich Sobol, Board Member at ElectronicPartner.

Additionally, members of the buying group were able to discuss the important year-end business with their contacts in sales, purchasing, marketing, and e-commerce during the IFA. Other cooperation partners – such as the MHK Group or Ladenbau Balzer – also showcased their services at the Palais. Alongside national participants, international ElectronicPartner teams from the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and the 16 countries of the E-Square network took the opportunity for personal networking at the leading electronics trade fair.

“Once again, it has been proven that the IFA offers an exclusive platform for intensive and focused industry exchange. Where else can I meet the most important contacts so closely together, surrounded by the latest tech trends from all product categories? We are already excited to see what awaits us when the IFA opens its doors for the 100th time in 2024,” concludes Karl Trautmann, Board Member at ElectronicPartner.
