Environmental Protection & Social Commitment

Our strategic orientation is guided by the values of our owner family – particularly their strong social commitment and deep connection to nature. Sustainability is firmly embedded in our corporate identity and shapes our actions. Through the long-term support of selected environmental and social projects, we create ecological and societal value in line with our entrepreneurial principles.

Against this backdrop, we are specifically involved in projects that make a measurable contribution to climate and biodiversity protection. A particular focus is placed on initiatives that preserve or restore natural habitats. A flagship example of this commitment is our support for the restoration of 100 hectares of peatland – a project that delivers lasting ecological benefits while also creating meaningful value for society. 

 

We also set clear priorities in the social sphere: Our Austrian national company was awarded funding for an exceptional project under the national Climate and Energy Fund. Together with the Climate and Energy Fund and Caritas, outdated, energy‑intensive electrical appliances in socially disadvantaged households are being replaced free of charge with energy‑efficient models. In this way, we actively help reduce energy poverty, make modern energy‑efficient technologies accessible, and at the same time achieve long‑term reductions

 

Together, these initiatives demonstrate how we consistently combine environmental responsibility with social commitment – making an impact at the regional level and in the spirit of sustainable development.
