Over two days, manufacturers, service providers and retail cooperatives showcased current trends, innovative products and forward-looking business models at the Design Center Linz. ElectronicPartner Austria stood out as one of the most visible and content-rich exhibitors at the fair.
At its generously designed 180-square-metre stand, the retail group, together with more than 20 industrial and service partners, presented a wide range of innovations: from household and consumer electronics to solutions for photovoltaics and e-mobility, as well as IT trends and accessories. A particular highlight was the presentation of the new specialist retail brand dittert, whose small electrical appliances are marketed exclusively by ElectronicPartner in Austria.
“One of the central themes at our stand was WENDEpunkt, one of ElectronicPartner’s four strategic core brands. It gives our members access to new business areas such as photovoltaics, heat pumps and smart green electricity tariffs,” explained Jörn Gellermann, who co-manages ElectronicPartner Austria alongside Michael Hofer. The WENDEpunkt showcase featured modern shop-in-shop concepts for the illustrative presentation of PV and energy solutions, as well as products from various partner manufacturers.
The ServicePartner repair network was also introduced. It supports EP:specialist retailers in offering professional and efficient repair services. The focus is on small electrical appliances, fully automatic coffee machines, smartphones and IT products, with clearly defined processes, reliable partners and a transparent workflow. The aim is to firmly establish repair as an environmentally friendly and economically viable alternative within specialist retail.
Another highlight of EFHT, as in previous years, was the successful format EP:Power Hour. Under the concept “Rent instead of buy”, many members explored new rental models. Speakers included Jörn Gellermann, Thilo Dröge from Wertgarantie, and Martin Theussl, Managing Director of EP:Theussl.
Away from the specialist programme, the open-plan catering area was actively used by all visitors – a popular meeting point for exchange and networking over goulash soup, sausages with or without horseradish, air-fried chips, coffee and cake.
The event concluded with an exclusive evening reception in the VIP area of the LASK stadium. Members, partners and employees of ElectronicPartner celebrated together with live music from Exit 2027, a varied buffet and cocktails at the event bar. The evening provided the perfect setting for informal exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.
“With a strong brand presence, committed partners and impressive visitor response, we were able to make a clear statement at the 2025 Elektrofachhandelstage – for practical solutions, close cooperation with retailers and a firm commitment to the future of the industry,” summarised Michael Hofer.
