Today, WENDEpunkt offers a comprehensive full-service portfolio ranging from photovoltaic systems and heat pumps to smart electricity tariffs and other forward-looking energy solutions. Following its successful market entry in Germany and Austria, WENDEpunkt is now expanding into Switzerland. Since its launch in 2024, a total of 122 ElectronicPartner member companies have been offering WENDEpunkt services. In addition, the first external partners have already come on board and will now benefit from the services provided by WENDEpunkt GmbH.
Market entry into Switzerland
As of July, it’s official: WENDEpunkt has begun its collaboration with the Swiss national subsidiary of ElectronicPartner. “This expansion is a logical next step in our DACH strategy. For us, entering the Swiss market means more than just increasing our presence – it lays the foundation for scaling our business model under Switzerland’s unique regulatory, economic, and infrastructural conditions,” explains Christoph Eickmanns, Managing Director of WENDEpunkt. The Swiss subsidiary can now offer its member companies a tailored solution that meets the growing demands for autonomous energy generation and usage – particularly in terms of supply, self-generated electricity, and the desire of many households to actively shape their energy future. Furthermore, the group can now approach new partner companies in Switzerland and support them in expanding their business models to include PV and related solutions – not least through access to product ranges, expertise, and strategic consulting.
New specialist companies join the network
At the same time as entering the Swiss market, WENDEpunkt has also attracted its first external partners in Germany and Austria: the first craft businesses with established market presence in solar energy/electrical installation and HVAC trades have joined WENDEpunkt – one in Austria and four in Germany. These companies remain independent but benefit from access to the full WENDEpunkt product range and attractive purchasing conditions. The portfolio includes not only photovoltaic and heat pump solutions but also services such as smart green electricity tariffs, home energy management systems, solar fences, and PV carports – all of which member companies can offer through WENDEpunkt. “This enables them to position themselves as holistic energy solution providers without having to build the entire infrastructure themselves – and they can do so virtually overnight,” says Christoph Eickmanns.
With its expansion into Switzerland and the onboarding of new specialist companies, WENDEpunkt reinforces its role as a serious player in the renewable energy market and as a strategically important growth driver within the ElectronicPartner group. The company is opening up new access points to skilled trades, the energy market, and end customers. “This development shows that WENDEpunkt is not a short-term reaction to the energy transition, but our long-term answer to it: a flexible, modern, and successful business model – and now, on an international level, a stable pillar of our group,” concludes ElectronicPartner board member Friedrich Sobol.
